As the year draws to a close and festive cheer fills the air, City of Dreams Macau proudly presents its “Splendor of A Festive Dream” celebration, crafting a winter experience brimming with surprises and artistic charm. From now until January 4, 2026, City of Dreams will be transformed into a festive-themed integrated resort with immersive holiday décor. From lavishly adorned outdoor spaces to meticulously designed indoor installations, celebratory elements intertwine with artistic aesthetics, complemented by vibrant interactive programs and indulgent gourmet experiences that invite guests to enjoy a winter holiday full of joy and wonder.

Artistic Installations Illuminate Winter

The newly unveiled South Gate Entrance transforms into a dazzling Christmas world, inviting guests to ring in the season’s joy. Its centerpiece—an eye-catching, 13-meter-tall golden reindeer—gently rotates along with music like a magnificent giant music box. 

The garden’s lifelike “Dancing Note Elves” echo the ongoing “Artletics” exhibition at City of Dreams, their playful expressions infusing the scene with vitality. As night falls, a shimmering pink-gold Christmas tree lights up the sky, accompanied by several 3-meter-tall reindeers and a starry illuminated lawn, creating a dreamlike festive atmosphere. 

Multiple daily performances of the “Bubble Show” bring the space to life as lights, music, and magical bubble effects blend to form a romantic, fairy-tale world. Santa Claus will also make surprise appearances, offering festive greetings and delightful moments. Guests may collect unique postcards from the South Gate Entrance and send them to their loved ones, sharing warm holiday wishes.

French contemporary artist Laurent Perbos draws inspiration from classical art and sporting culture. At City of Dreams Macau, Perbos transforms familiar sporting scenes into dynamic and fluid artistic spaces, where spectators can encounter the delight and surprise inspired by the fusion of art and athletics, all while watching, walking, and interacting with the experience. The exhibition Artletics echoes the 15th National Games in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macau Greater Bay Area through the language of art, infusing Macau with an urban atmosphere that harmonizes public engagement and cultural depth.

During the 2024 Paris Olympics, French contemporary artist Laurent Perbos unveiled his sculptural installation Beauty and Gesture (La Beauté et le Geste) on the steps of the Palais Bourbon, home to the French National Assembly. Inspired by the iconic Greek sculpture Venus de Milo (Vénus de Milo), the work features six sculptures reinterpreting the figure of Venus as athletes carrying instruments symbolising different sports from the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Beauty and Gesture tours to City of Dreams, Macau, resonating with the 15th National Games jointly hosted by the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macau Greater Bay Area, and infusing the city’s public space with cultural vitality through the interplay of art and athletics.

Envisioned by the internationally renowned interior design agency Malherbe Paris, Artelli spans 600 square meters and embraces a clean, all-white palette. With soaring ceilings and a carefully curated layout, every step through the space unfolds a new perspective. The open, interwoven landscape makes every visit an immersive experience, with every corner built for each artwork telling its own story.
