Dancing Water Under the Moon
Continuing its "Dream Beyond" brand promise, City of Dreams Macau has invited award-winning illustrator and visual artist Yulong Lli to design the "Dancing Water Under the Moon" mooncake gift box. The design draws inspiration from Morpheus' iconic free-form steel exoskeleton architecture, futuristic artistic installations, and the dynamic imagery of the once‑in‑a‑lifetime aquatic show House of Dancing Water. Adopting the silhouette of a traditional Chinese food box, the gift box interprets timeless aesthetics that transcend time and space within a compact frame. The overall design adopts a deep blue and gold contrasting color scheme and features a golden circular graphic on the lid which symbolizes the full moon and reunion and can be gently moved to unveil the water dance-inspired motifs beneath, ingeniously evoking the interplay of lunar phases. Tucked inside is a tangram puzzle set that can be assembled into the shape of the iconic "Dream Pagoda" from House of Dancing Water. When disassembled, the pieces can be freely reconfigured into other signature motifs of the show.This interactive creativity unlocks boundless, playful festive imagination.
